Australia declare at 494/4 in practice game against Pakistan A

Australia declared their first innings at 494/4 on the third day of their practice match against Pakistan A in Dubai.

The Kangaroos began the proceedings of the third day at 207/2 with Shaun Marsh and Mitchell Marsh on the crease.

Mitchell Marsh was dismissed after scoring 162, which included 17 boundaries.

Shaun Marsh and Travis Head scored 94 and 90 runs respectively. Aaron Finch made 54 runs for the side.

Waqas Maqsood and Iftikhar Ahmed grabbed two wickets each for the team.

Pakistan, after winning the toss, made 278 with Abid Ali and Sami Aslam scoring half centuries.

Ali made 85 runs while Aslam scored 51 runs for the hosts. Saad Ali and Mohammad Rizwan contributed 36 and 26 runs with the bat respectively.

Nathan Lyon picked up eight wickets while Mitchell Starc and Jon Holland grabbed a wicket each.
