Borussia Dortmund picked up a 7-0 win over Nuremberg in their Bundesliga fixture on Wednesday, AFP reported.
Dortmund took the lead early on as Jacob Bruun Larsen’s scored with his stylish finish. Marco Reus doubled the lead in the 32nd minute.
Real Madrid loanee Achraf Hakimi’s scored his debut goal just after half-time as he netted the ball into the bottom corner.
Reus score his second of the match and Manuel Akanji also scored his first Bundesliga goal.
Jadon Sancho and Julian Weigl went on to complete the rout.
Meanwhile, Borussia Moenchengladbach picked up a 3-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. Alassane Plea scored in the 56th minute for Moenchengladbach. Thorgan Hazard made it 2-0 after 10 minutes.
Ante Rebic’s pulled a goal back but Nico Elvedi’s header in the 85th minute took the side to victory.
RB Leipzig beat Stuttgart 2-0 while the fixture between Wolfsburg and Mainz ended in a goalless draw.
Leipzig went ahead on the stroke of half-time thanks to a goal by Willi Orban. Jean Kevin Augustin scored the second goal to seal the victory.
Wolfsburg, on the other hand, failed to capitalise on the errors made by Mainz.
TJosip Brekalo first struck the post at 23 minutes and then fired the ball straight at Mainz goalkeeper Florian Mueller.
Kevin Volland scored twice in the second half to help Bayer Leverkusen beat Fortuna Duesseldorf 2-1.
Bayern Munich top the Bundesliga table with 13 points while Borussia Dortmund and SV Werder Bremen are at second and third place with 11 points each.
